Because I'm looking for cross possibilities everywhere, I see them. We see what we're predisposed to look for. If we look for evil and ugliness, that's what we'll see. If we look for light and goodness, we'll see that instead. It is not denial to decide to look for beauty and hope.

Yesterday's cross was formed by the nearby rocks and grass, with the far-away evergreens providing the background. Today's cross is formed by the evergreens in the distance, framed by the nearby rocks.

The cross is universal, connecting near and far, up and down, inside and outside, me and you and all humanity with God.
