Thicker thicket

In Scripture, thickets are usually associated with words of judgment. For example:

‘Zion will be plowed like a field,
Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble,
the temple hill a mound overgrown with thickets.’

Jeremiah 26:28

Thicket

Thicket of trees and bushes at Homestead National Monument of America, Beatrice, Nebraska.

The blue comes from standing water in this very low area, reflecting the blue sky above. So this is a closed and complex space which hints at the wide open spaces above. In our very thick and complex lives, we also need patches of blue.

Wooden crosses 6

We have now reached the end of crosses from Rocky Mountain National Park--until the next visit some day.

The number of crosses out there is infinite, as is the Truth they represent. The only limitation is in my ability to find them.
