One of my favorite crosses. The Printery House agreed, using this image for a "birthday card for your favorite priest." Click here to see their ad.

Kremmling cliffs 3

If you're a nature photographer, you're looking for the first light of the morning and the last light of the evening. A half hour later, this photograph would have been boring and flat.

Kremmling cliffs, dawn

A few years ago, we rented a cabin for a week at Kremmling, Colorado. These cliffs dominate the Kremmling skyline, here in a misty golden morning

Chevy pickup 7

I posted this image a couple years ago, but it deserves another exposure as I conclude the "Chevy pickup" series.

Obviously, this is not a cross. My cross images involve choosing the kaleidoscope effect that breaks the original image into four parts. But that software has infinite possibilities, including breaking the image into 3's, which resulted in this wonderful Star of David. It seemed appropriate to add "The LORD is One", the central affirmation of the Jewish faith, an affirmation to which Christians and Muslims also ascribe. If only the followers of the one LORD could also be one.

Chevy pickup 6

Christians usually talk of "going to heaven" when they die. But spend some time contemplating the meaning of this promise of a "new earth." Will even Chevy pickups be renewed?
