I designed this deadly cross for Good Friday, but perhaps it also works for the last day of the year. With the downturn in the economy, we can all celebrate that 2008 is finished and will be transformed into something better and new in 2009. Happy New Year!

This is one of my all-time favorites.

The white gravestones of St. Peter's Anglican Church cemetery at Twillingate, Newfoundland contrast nicely with the blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean beyond.

Though the aesthetics of the cemetery won't matter much to me once I'm in one, I've never seen a better place to rest than this.
