The neat thing about construction is that it's so concrete (pun intended.) Every day you can see what you've accomplished. When you're done, you can point and say, "I built that."

Jobs that deal with people can be very satisfying, but results are difficult to measure. High-tech jobs that involve moving electrons from place to place can be exciting, but it's hard to actually see those little negative fellows scurrying around. So on this Labor Day weekend, thanks to all who build, and may you find satisfaction in your work!
