Dew on Grass
In the Scriptures, morning dew is always seen as a sign of God's blessing, as in Isaac's blessing to Jacob:
" May God give you of heaven’s dew
and of earth’s richness—
an abundance of grain and new wine."
The wilderness manna was connected to the morning dew.
The Lover in Song of Solomon tried to impress his Beloved by saying, "My head is drenched with dew,
my hair with the dampness of the night."
So the next time your lawn is drenched with dew, instead of complaining, "It's still too wet to mow", thank God for blessings, eat a bowl of cereal, and spend some time with your Beloved.
This dew-laden morning grass was found at Homestead National Monument of America, Beatrice, Nebraska.
