Mt. Angel Abbey interior

One can worship in a cave or a closet, in an undecorated meetinghouse or in a beautiful cathedral. God is equally present everywhere. But it's also true that architecture can draw our hearts and minds toward God, lifting us outside ourselves and helping us focus on God's awesomeness and Jesus' love. Mt. Angel Abbey does this exceedingly well.
