Pointe-aux-Chenes sunset

Pointe-aux-Chenes, Louisiana, is at the end of the road. It's a Cajun town which follows the bayou out into the Gulf of Mexico. The surrounding marsh is great for hunters, fishermen, no-see-ums, and photographers. I was part of a group of a dozen men from our church who worked in Pointe-aux-Chenes for a week this past January with Mennonite Disaster Service rebuilding after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
People who see my crosses usually want to see the original photo, which in this case is a sunset over the salt-water marsh around the bayou.
