Bare Branches
Had I not been looking for cross material, I would not have taken this picture. But because I've spent several years looking for crosses, I knew the cross was there, and I knew pretty much what it would look like.
Seeing the divine takes practice. Some people see God in everything, while others look right at God's movement in the world and in peoples' lives, and see nothing at all. Physical eyes deteriorate over time, but the eyes of faith--at least potentially--get sharper.
