Yosemite Falls 3

Notice the rock colors. To either side of Yosemite Falls, the granite is a sun-bleached gray. Directly under the waterfall, the rock is washed to a lovely natural brown. But where water from the cascade splashes occasionally to the left and right, the rock is almost black as the moisture interacts with sunlight--probably causing some kind of algae or lichen to grow on the face of the rock.

Noticing. That's what photography is about. And since God notices when every sparrow falls, noticing is a sign of the image of God within us. Here's a different sort of New Years resolution for you to try: "I will notice something new every day."
