Beach peas

In early August along the Oregon coast, the beach peas were in full bloom. Like the purple foxglove that was blooming so profusely in July they grow and spread naturally as wildflowers along the coast, wherever the growing conditions are right.

Such beauty--with no assistance from people. "They toil not, neither do they spin . . ."
