Morning Flower Garden

The sisters of Queen of Angels monastery know how to nurture the earth and make it fruitful. They raise vegetables, fruits and berries, and flowers. Oh, so many flowers! God is everywhere, in the ugly and beautiful alike, but flower gardens are "thin" places, as the Irish say--places where the barrier between the earthly and the divine is almost gone.
